How do I make a referral if I’m concerned about a child or young person?

Safeguarding children and young people in Guernsey and Alderney is EVERYONE’s responsibility. Anyone can get in contact with the Multi-Agency Support Hub (MASH).

You can telephone us on 01481 223182 or email us multiagencysupporthub@gov.gg.

Our office hours are Monday to Thursday 8:45am-5:00pm and on Friday 8:45am-4:45pm.

The Emergency Duty Service (EDS) becomes operational outside of the usual office opening hours and can be contacted on 01481 222222.

If you think a child is at immediate risk of harm call the police on 999

Any agency or member of the public including self referrers who feel they would benefit from support can fill in the Multi Agency Referral Form.

Note: If you have concerns about an adult who may be at risk or experiencing harm, abuse, neglect or self-neglect, please contact the Adult Safeguarding Team.
